 Baden Borough Alert!

We're taking fire safety and property maintenance seriously! The Borough of Baden is rolling out a thorough Inspection Program for all commercial buildings. Here's what you need to know:

Inspections: Trained inspectors will assess fire and life safety, property maintenance standards, and code compliance.

Detailed Reports: You'll get detailed evaluation reports with concerns and corrective actions needed for improvements.

Collaborative Approach: We'll work hand-in-hand with owners to address issues and ensure safety for all.

Community Education: Stay tuned for fire safety tips and best practices!

Just so you know – the initial inspection and two subsequent follow-up inspections within the same inspection year will be provided at no cost to you as the property or business owner.

You can find additional information at the link below.

"Working in unison, the Borough of Baden and the Baden Fire Department are dedicated to fostering a safe and thriving community by implementing a comprehensive inspection program. Our joint mission is to proactively ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and property maintenance. By conducting thorough inspections and providing essential guidance, we aim to safeguard lives, protect property, and uphold the well-being of all residents and businesses within our borough."

The program starts in 2024, and the first inspection and two follow-ups are on us. Let's keep Baden safe together! #FireSafety #BadenInspections #CommunitySafety"

Top Responders

We would like to recognize our first and second quarter top responders for 2023!

Our first quarter top responder is Phil Tkatch! Phil joined the department early last year. He joins his brother Riley in taking after their father, retired member Dru Tkatch by becoming Baden Firefighters. Phil is a prior Army Airborne Combat Medic. He now works full time as an EMT with Economy EMS and co owner of a local plumbing business.

Our second quarter top responder is Michael “Mick” Hudak! Mick is our most senior active member, starting with the department in 1979, 44 years ago! Mick has dedicated countless hours to our department as well as to the community, and he still shows his dedication to this day. Mick can be relied on as an experienced engineer and firefighter, and to share his decades of experience with the younger generations of our department.

As a 100% volunteer organization, our members are our most valuable assets. We rely on their commitment and dedication in order to continue to serve you. We take great pleasure in recognizing those who go above and beyond!
